Parts and functions of a flower
Learning Intention- We are learning about the parts of the flower.
Success Criteria-I know I am successful when I can label the parts and functions of a flower.

Functions of the parts of a flower:
Stigma-Sticky part that can catch pollen.
Anther-A sac like shape that contains pollen.

Petals- bright colours to attract the insects.

Filament-Holds the anther up.

Style-Holds up stigma.

Sepals-protects the flower.

Ovary-Contains the Ovules or pollinates the pollen.
Receptacle-Supports all the parts of the flower.
