Learning Intention: Identify the main events in St. Maximilian's Life.
St. Maximilian Kolbe
Maximilian was first a priest, then promoted to a catholic priest with his brother in 1917. He was still present when World War II. The priest was active at the radio transporting actions of the Nazi's.
Soon enough he got captured by the Nazis and was placed prisoner for persecution later on. In his time there he thought men about songs and praying to God. A man was then elected to die but he begged the soldiers to let him live because of his family.
Maximilian took attention of the Nazis and declared for him to die instead. "I have no family and none will miss me, so take me instead". It took a while for him to persuade the soldiers to take his life but died as they finally agreed. The man survived the war and returned to his family.
