NAIDOC YOUTH OF THE YEAR AWARD
Image: Calendar
My Strategy - I first made 1985 to 2010. The answer I got was 25 years in between. Then added 2 to the 7 because it equals 9, the day she got the award. After that I did the months, 3 months (not including April). That's how I got my conclusions.
Hey Aleena,
ReplyDeleteI’m Daniel, A SLJ blog commenter for the Kootuitui schools but I’m also jumping on occasionally to help out Manaiakalani.
I just wanted to jump on to comment on one of your posts to say super congratulations for finishing all the SLJ activities! and so early too. Well done! If you haven't started already, you can start leaving awesome thoughtful comments on other students blogs to encourage them to finish too. You'll also get bonus points for the comments you leave and any extra blogs you want to post.
Well done for figuring out this tricky maths problem, your answer is correct and your equation is great. I was still trying to figure out if leap years mattered or not (spoilers, they don't). Great stuff Aleenah.
Daniel :)
