Cultural People - by Aleenah

Cultural People
Aboriginal Australians are one of the first people who came to Australia. They are also the most historical and cultural. They have lived in their homeland for 50,000 years. They did seperate each other into two groups.
Aboriginal peoples were the ones who inhabited Australia when Britain started capturing one of their islands in 1788.
The other group was called Islander peoples. They ruled over the Torres Strait Islands (known as Queensland today).

Papuan People are the residents of Papua New Guinea. The people there speak all sorts of languages. There are mostly Malaysians than Indonesians but there are many cultures there. The Papuan People also have many religion groups. A lot of them as many followers.

  1. Kia ora Aleenah,

The facts you chose about these two cultural groups are super interesting. I really like the fact about how long Aboriginal Australians lived in their home land - I had no idea it was 50,000 years. What is your favourite fact you have learnt through this activity?
